Introduction

Relying on its managers’ and shareholders’ experience, Asia Seir Aras Transportation Company was established in 2007 with a 100% private investment. At present it is a subsidiary of Tuka Rail Company, a listed company listed in Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) and a subsidiary to Tuka Foulad Investment Company.

Asia Seir Aras Transportation Company enjoys a wide range of facilities and equipment in the Iranian ports, and is capable of delivering best transportation services to all organizations, institutions, mines, ports and contracting companies.

Facilities and capabilities

• Enjoying a rail fleet comprising over 1600 wagons specialized for mining products, wagons for merchandise, transit containers and wagons for transportation of steel making products and products of other industries;
• Enjoying a container depot with over 1300 special containers for the transportation of goods in containers;
• Enjoying loading and unloading facilities and machineries, including top lift trucks, lift trucks, stackers, special trailers for carrying 20-foot containers, etc.
• Capability and capacity of carrying 10,000 ton products and minerals from different loading ports per day;
• Capability of transportation of bulk goods using jumbo containers on the basis of the customer needs;
• Capability of delivering a wide range of consultation services with respect to railway and compound (rail+truck) transportation;

Current activities in brief

Transportation and handling of over 2.5 million ton minerals (iron ore, concentrates and pellets), steel products such as coils, slabs, copper products and miscellaneous loads from Mobarakeh Steel Company, Saba Steel Company, Golegohar Mine, Bafq Mines, Sarcheshmeh Mines to Bandar Abbas and other sales and production sites throughout Iran;

• Transportation of transit goods and merchandize from different ports to customers;
• Transportation of mining products from mines to steel making plants and ports;
• Compound transportation (transshipment) of minerals from plants and mines to loading platforms in railway stations
